A garage on Sitarului street, Codru town has burst into flames. They were soon followed by an explosion, caused by two gas cylinders located within the building.

Two firefighting teams were dispatched to the site.

The firefighters have managed to prevent another explosion, by taking out the remaining gas cylinder that was ready to blow up at any given moment.

They have managed to extinguish the flames within 3 hours, without allowing it to spread to nearby houses.

Luckily nobody got hurt. The cause of fire has yet to be established.
