The hard work of inspectors from State Fisheries Service brought results. Recently, they have managed to discover over 200 crab traps in Dubăsari lake and Nistru river.

They also confiscated and destroyed nets placed illegally against the flow. Inspectors have freed all found crabs.

The searches resulted in multiple criminal files being opened for illegal fishing during the night and poaching. 6 people were fined for breaching the fishing law.

The fight against poaching continues.
