Law enforcement are currently undertaking actions to combat street crime. For this, Chisinau Police Department undertakes daily actions, by training the necessary number of officers, who will raise awareness among citizens and increase the visibility grade in society. Therefore, each day are trained officers from each sector's inspectorate and departments of Carabinieri of the Minister of Internal Affairs.

One of the aims will be for officers to raise awareness of pickpocketing, thefts from apartment and cars, to whom are handled brochures for this reason. Those actions have already begun and are being done for Capital's citizens safety.

At the same time, in student dormitories are held educational- informative lessons, regrind the norms of respecting public order, aiming to eliminate the risk of alcohol and nicotine consumption in public places. Police Officers have also begun patrolling ares near Central Market, where illegal vendors might appear  and people found selling goods without licence are sanctioned.

Capital's Police Department has intensified its actions in those areas, while citizens are requested to abide the law.
