EU will provide budget support for four projects in Moldova till end of 2017 year
Taking into consideration the confusion generated by the misinterpretation of the difference between macrofinancial assistance offered by the EU and the budget support offered to Republic of Moldova we come with the following remarks:
After the discussion from the Bruxelles, between Pavel Filip and Johanes Hahn, the European Commissioner for Negotiations and Relationship with neighbor countries, the Government and the Prime Minister announced that the budget support will be allocated to Republic of Moldova till the end of this year.
At the same time, the Government haven't mentioned that the money resulting after the Agreement according to macrofinancial assistance, signed on November 23, 2017, at Bruxelles could arrive in Moldova till the end of this yeas.
This could be impossible, taking into consideration that within the Agreement there were established many conditions that will be fulfilled before the first invoice. The macrofinancial assistance is in sum of 100 million euros that will be offered as a grant.
It is important to mention that, there is a difference between the two funds, those are not the same. Many media institutions presented misinterpretations.
