Five persons received heavy sentences in Capital for human trafficking

Two woman and three men recently received heavy sentences, after Prosecutor's Office from Chisinau managed to prove their guilt in human trafficking.
Between 2013 - 2014, the suspects have employed 7 young women, among whom 3 were minors, from social vulnerable families, who were then physically and psychologically abused and forced to offer sexual services for money, in different places from the Capital.
The suspects would post on-line announcement, afterward transporting the victims to their clients. For an hour, they would request 600 lei. Later, the money were taken away by the traffickers.
Three of them received 17 years each, while the other two will spend the next 19 and 20 years behind bars.
The sentence can be appealed.
