Carmena Sterpu, the main consultant of the press service said that the President of the country, Igor Dodon refuses to declare day of December 16 mourning day in memory of King Michael I. 

"The President of Republic of Moldova doesn't consider it necessary for Republic of Moldova to declare Mourning Day after the death of the monarch of another country. With all the respect for the neighbor country we transmit the condolences", wrote Sterpu.
