Over 40% of Moldovan unemployed found a job in 2017
Over 40 percent of jobs seekers were employed. This is how the data for 11 months of the year, published by the National Agency for Employment show.
During this period, almost 43 thousand vacancies were registered in our country. At the same time, more than 38 thousand people were searching for a job, and over 15.6 thousand of them were employed. The statistics show that during this period, 1800 Moldovans returned in the country, 43 per cent of which were placed in the labor force.
Almost a half of the unemployed registered at the National Employment Agency are aged between 30 and 49. 29 percent are young people aged between 16 and 29, and 22 percent - between 50 and 65.
This year, 17 educational institutions trained unemployed for 45 professions. Almost 2200 people have completed these courses, and the majority of them have already found a job.
Most preferred jobs are the cook and hairdresser.
