Neurological diagnosis will be finished in two hours instead six hours as before. This was enabled thanks to advanced device installed in the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery in the capital through two investment projects worth almost two million lei.
The machine will allow specialists to determine the patient's condition in just two minutes.
"It's faster now as bigger data can be used", said the technical medical engineer, the Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Petru Croitor.
In addition to this machine, the department was equipped with cardiorespiratory monitors and several resuscitation beds.
"I've been working for 35 years and this's the first time I've seen such device. Salary is good factor in motivating us, however, these technologies help us even work effectively," said the director Institute of Neurology and Neurosurgery, Grigore Zapuhlin.
"These conditions are at European standards. The highest priority of the state, of the Government must remain the health of the population," said the state secretary general of the Ministry of Health, Labor and Social Protection, Boris Gîlcă.
The Emergency Prize Unit was upgraded with the financial support of the Czech Government and the National Health Insurance Company.
