A man from Rascani district was detained by CNA officers and Anti-corruption attorneys, being suspected of traffic of influence.

According to the investigation, the man receive a 650 euros bribery, for influencing the employees of the Romanian Consulate and the National Authorities for Citizenship, to make faster the process of obtaining the citizenship.

The man didn't fulfill his promise and the husband and wife told about this case to DGT North of CNA. Thus the man was detained for 72 hours.

There was opened a penal case on traffic of influence on this case. If found guilty, the man risks up to six years in prison or a 200 000 lei fine.
