Starting next week, winter will make itself known. The thermometers will show as low as -10 degrees at night.

During the day, temperatures will also remain under 0 degrees Celsius. Still, there will be no snow.

"We will experience cold weather starting 13th January, when temperatures both during the day and night will drop below 0 degrees Celsius. On 15th January, we expect the weather to become even colder" meteorologist Ghenadii Roşca said.

This winter, in Republic of Moldova temperatures were rather warm for this period of the year. Some days having registered to +14 degrees Celsius.
