Moldova's export worth almost $2.2 billion was recorded in January - November 2017, increased by 18 per cent compared to same period in 2016, says National Statistics Office. 

According to statistics, 66 per cent Moldovan products reached the European Union markets, with a total of over $1.4 billion, a rise by 20 per cent compared to January-November 2016.

Moldova's export to the CIS countries in 11 months of 2017 was nearly $428 million, an increase by 12 per cent.

The statistics show that every fourth exported product arrived in Romania, the goods was estimated nearly $ 546 million.

In addition, every tenth exported product arrived in the Russian Federation, worth 238 million dollars.

Regarding the categories of goods, food, beverages and tobacco were the most exported during this period. The total amount was estimated at 725 million dollars.

Manufactured articles exported were worth 489 million dollars. Machinery and transport equipment were exported, amounting 398 million dollars.
