Over 40 tons of Moldovan apples were banned in Russian Federation. The Kursk Rosselhoznadzor's spokesman claim that the phytosanitary certificates don't fit what's written on the label.
The trucks that were transporting apples were stopped in Kursk region. The responsible of National Agency of Food Safety haven't comment on the situation yet. In December of last year, the Russian phytosanitary service banned almost 20 tones of apples from our country, because they found caterpillar larvae in the apples.
During 2017, Rosselhoznadzor banned 200 tones of Moldovan apples.
