Snow caused power outage in 13 districts
(UPDATE 17:44) Around 260 settlements are experiencing power outage. According to Union Fenosa, around 152 power line snapped, of which 134 were located.
(UPDATE) At the moment, 275 settlements from 18 districts are experiencing power outage.
(UPDATE 10:42) Snow caused power outage in 173 settlements from 13 districts.
(07:11) The heavy snow from the previous night caused a power outage in multiple settlements from Moldova. General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations have worked non-stop.
According to the data, at 06:00, 55 settlements from 13 districts remained partially without electricity. Namely, the settlements from Ialoveni, Criuleni, Orhei, Hâncești, Telenești, Ștefan Vodă, Anenii Noi, Cahul, Cantemir, Basarabeasca, Leova, Ungheni and UTA Găgăuzia.
General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations announced that all national roads leading to those settlements are not blocked.
Employees from territorial subdivisions of the General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, along with employees from National Patrol Inspectorate are paroling and monitoring the roads posing high risk. For spreading slip-proof material were dispatched 148 vehicles and 185 persons, with 1 200 tons of material.
General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations urges citizens to not hesitate to call 901 when the need arises.
