A Moldovan managed to avoid a tragedy after the truck he was driving caught fire in a tunnel from on a highway in Canada. The tow was destroyed, but nobody suffered and the traffic restarted in a couple of hours. Mihai Galca is a truck driver for already two years in a company from Quebec. He was delivering vegetables in the south of the country. When he entered in the tunnel, he noticed how one of the wheel caught fire. The man kept the calm to avoid an accident.

"I found out the situation is dangerous and I braked in time and went out of the tunnel", said the man.

Then, he parked on the right and took the tow off the car. The Canadian policemen say that due to the reaction of the Moldovan, the accident didn't occur. If he hadn't brake, then, the thick smoke would have reduced the visibility. This could have created a chain reaction car accident.

His colleagues are proud of him:"He reacted very fast and he dealt with it very good", said Mihail Galca emigrant in Canada for four years. He says that he took a vacation, to recover forces after this experience.
