A group of doctors, teachers and policemen will unite forces to provide the public order. They will be helped by the police to prevent the crimes.

The Community Police will be implemented in our country till the end of this year. This experience was taken from the USA.

"We should start from the premise that the police is in the support of the citizen. This concept was approved these days by the Government. It comes to implement the statement we spoke about through the measures they will implement. We want to be an organ that serves the citizen and the steps we are going to implement within four years will make the citizen feel that the police supports them.
Last year, the trust in police increased twice, because of the implementation of policing activity. Community Police is a new activity, a new approach to the citizen, "said Alexandru Pânzari, the chief of the General Police Inspectorate.

A hundred of policemen are ready for a better cooperation with the society. It is about the inspectors from Sangerei, Cahul, Anenii Noi and Comrat, where there was launched a pilot project. In Buiucani sector of the Capital there was implemented a new structure.

"The number of requests and petitions increased. Indeed, we have children here, because we have free wifi. They come here to play or to draw. We are very friendly with them. Previously, it wasn't like that", said Sergiu Muruz, the chief of the No.3 Buiucani IP.

The project targets to make a better relationship between people and the citizens.

"The policemen will be oriented to get acknowledged to the problems of the communities they are serving", said Vladimir Cazacov, the deputy chief of the General Direction of Public Order. 

People agree with this initiative and say that the order forces should change their attitude for the citizens.

"People have problems all the time and they address to us. I think we should change our attitude."

"People are afraid of the police, if we would be more friendly, they wouldn't be that scared."

"They see us very often and they say:"Let me help you" and I say "Thank you", people change."

The concept of Community Police was implemented due to the US Embassy in Moldova.
