Five representatives of European People's Party paid visit to Orhei
Five representatives of the European Parliament, members of Sor Party and members of the European People's Party had a meeting in Orhei. The MPE's are convinced that the changes that occurred in Orhei since Ilan Sor is its mayor are impressive.
"I am convinced that if the citizens of Moldova had the possibility to spend a day in Orhei, then, definitely, they would support your party. Obviously, they would feel the difference between the ones who only talk about the changes and those who fulfill what they say", said Alberto Cirio, PPE deputy.
"All the politicians are good speakers, but not all them are as good when it comes to concrete actions. You have many achievements: social stores, social houses, centers for homeless dogs and so on", mentioned Salvo Pogliese, deputy in the European Parliament.
The mayor of the city, Ilan Sor declared that he and his team continue to develop Orhei.
"We try to transform Orhei in an European city. We want to bring the Europe home. We want the society to feel comfortable home", said Ilan Sor.
"We want our country to be more European and we need foreign investments for this", said Marina Tauber, deputy President of Sor Party.
European deputies of the European People's Party showed their distrust according to the Kroll report.
"There were a lot of attacks from Liberal Party to the Orhei leader. I read the report of a private agency. We know that this is just a private agency and I think that only an attorney can decide on it. We should take into consideration that a private agency can't influence the elections", said Fluvio Martusciello, deputy in the European Parliamentary.
