During an official visit to Brussels, on January 22, Iurie Leancă participate in a number of meeting at the European Parliament. The Moldovan official spoke with Sorin Moisă (European People's Party), Petras Austrevicius (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) and Rebecca Harms (Greens–European Free Alliance).

The subjects viewed internal politics, such as the registered progress in reform implementation in Republic of Moldova.

Iurie Leancă underlined that Republic of Moldova's Government is determined to continue the implementation of the Association Agreement, through a better national coordination, concentrating on results in key areas and better communicating them.

At the same time, the officials exchanged opinions regarding the latest evolution in the implementations of terms required for the macro-financial assistance.

European deputies have encouraged Moldova's officials to continue with the reforms.
