Diaspora Bureau head discussed integration of Moldovans in Canada
Diaspora Bureau head Olga Coptu had several discussions with Moldovan diaspora in Ottawa city at the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Canada.
Moldovans discussed the possibility of establishing the Canadian Diaspora National Council in Montreal.
Participants in the talks are open to engage the joint projects, awaiting more Moldovan organizations in Canada.
Moreover, Moldovan citizens in Canada say they are aware of the actual situation of Moldova and are following all events.
Participants expressed their appreciation for activities of Diaspora Relations Office (BRD) within the State Chancellery.
Moldovans in Canada have the possibility of retraining and continuing our studies in the fields. We are appreciated by the Canadian authorities", said Moldovan diaspora.
Olga Coptu reiterated that BRD appreciates the efforts of diaspora associations and supports the initiative of Moldovans to organize cultural events abroad that allow the maintenance of traditions, perpetuation of customs and language.
