Border police of Albita Customs investigate the case of a man with Romanian and Moldovan citizenship who presented fake matriculation document at the border.

At the end of the last week, the 32 year old man presented at Albita customs to make the required checking with a fake matriculation document of a Mercedes S320CDI, registered in Bulgaria.

At the border control, there were suspicions regarding the authenticity of the registration certificate submitted to the control of the transport, our workers carried out additional checks, as a result of which they found that the document does not meet the formal and substantive conditions of an authentic, this being totally false.

Regarding what was found, the man said that he bought the car in Romania a few days ago with the sum of 2000 euros and that when he took over the car, he got the documents he submitted to the border control. He also stated that he is unaware that the certificate of registration submitted to control is false or falsified.

Border guards are conducting investigations for committing a crime of forgery.
