New reveals in the case of Vlad Plahotniuc's life attempt. The car that the offenders wanted to use for transportation was bought by a young man from Anenii Noi.
The seller brought the car at the instance and the prosecutor says the man confirmed the accusations of the offenders:
"-It was long ago. I don't even remember.
-What did they say? Why did they buy this car?
-Personal interests.
-Did they analyze it and its condition?
-Yes, sure."
This is the second eyewitness from the list of Prosecutor's Office for Fighting against Criminality and Special Causes.
"The statements he gave to the court confirmed the statements made in the criminal prosecution and, respectively, in relation to the other evidence in the criminal case fully demonstrate the guilt of the defendants. What about the car, it is the car with which the executors of the murders were using", said Tatiana Vidrasco, PCCOCS prosecutor.
Within the same session, a lawyer asked to release one of the offenders. According to the lawyer, the offender has diabetes. The instance rejected the request.
"The instance offered him the opportunity to address to the doctors", said Tatiana Vidrasco.
Last week, Iurie Parhoenco, one of the offenders was sentenced to five years and four months. He recognized his guilt. The seven offenders were sentenced at the end of October.
According to the prosecutors, the offenders fulfilled the order of Grigore Caramalac, alias Bulgaru, who is announced in international search. Totally, 17 persons are involved in this scheme: eight were sentenced in April, in Chisinau and the others in Ukraine.
