Tatiana Molcean, the state secretary had a meeting today, February 6, 2018 with Kristina Baleisyte, the Head of Liaison Office of NATO to Chisinau.
The officials talked about the cooperation with the Alliance in the context of implementing the targets of Individual Actions Plan of the Partnership between Republic of Moldova and NATO on 2017-2019 period.
In this context, there were discussed the evolution of the assistance program and the financial support of the Alliance and the future perspectives that could be implemented in our country.
The Secretary of State expressed her appreciation for supporting NATO's security and defense reforms, noting the importance of projects in non-military fields such as pesticide destruction, crisis management and civil protection training, but also continuing to train experts through programs NATO.
At her turn, the chief of NATO expressed the availability of the Alliance and the Chisinau team to offer the required assistance to the national institutions and the trust of enforcing the cooperation between Republic of Moldova and NATO.
