The 12 children from Filipeni village, Leova district, who were diagnosed with Hepatitis A are stable. Some of them will even be released in the next few days.
Still, the parents continue to fear that their children will catch the illness from one of their classmates.

According to the Gymnasium's director, since the beginning of the school year, a total of 43 pupils were diagnosed with Hepatitis A, but the responsible institutions has yet to place it under quarantine and the school remains open.
Hepatitis A is an infectious disease of the liver. The virus is transmitted through ingestion of contaminated food and water and is common among children.
