Ticket prices decreased by 12% for trains Chisinau - Moscow and Chisinau - Saint Petersburg

Train tickets for routes going Chisinau - Moscow and Chisinau - Saint Petersburg became by 12% cheaper. The decision was taken after Ministry of Economy and Infrastructure reduces the base fare for tickers in the wagons lessened.
Now, people who wish to go to Russia's Capital by taking the 10:50 train, will spend 1 795 lei, by 240 lei less. While passengers who will chose the same destination, only at 20:40 train will pay by 210 lei less. Tickets prices for trains going Chisinau - Saint Petersburg have also decreased by 240 lei.
"It is normal for them to become cheaper - Do you often travel to Moscow? - Once per 2-3 years. To visit my daughter and grandson."

Price changes are meant to increase the number of travelers.
"We can put up to 18 cars, today, we use between eight to ten cars to Moscow and Saint Petersburg. We spoke with colleagues from Russia and Ukraine about the possibility to lessen those prices" director of Moldova's Railway, Iurie Topală said.
The new prices will be applied starting 12 February and will be valid until the end of March.
