A citizen of Poland was arrested by Anticorruption officers after he attempted to bribe a Customs officer from Leuşeni Customs with 200 euro.
According to them, the man wished to smuggle form the country antibiotics. Customs officer having found in the man's car close to 10 000 pills and 1 385 ampoules.
The medicine were hidden in the car's trunk, in the glove compartment, as well as the space meant for air filter. In order to avoid being sanctioned, the Polish man offered to Customs officer 200 euro, but was arrested by National Anticorruption Center.
If found guilty, the man risks to 6 years behind bars and a fine of 2 000 to 4 000 conventional units.
