Officers from Ciocana Police Inspectorate and Chisinau Police Department have arrested a 29-year-old man from Transnistria, on suspicion of committing multiple thefts on the streets during the night. 

Later, during investigations, it was established that the suspect attacked women aged between 21 and 62 years old, having openly stolen their handbags containing valuable goods, cell phones, IDs and wallets.

The man confessed during questionings and is currently investigated for theft, having been arrested for 72 hours. If found guilty, he risks to 7 years behind bars.
