A Russian citizen, wanted by Swiss authorities was arrested by Border guards in Chisinau International Airport. The 51-year-old man arrived to Moldova from Moscow on Sunday.

Investigations have shown that the man is wanted for committing various financial crimes in Switzerland. He was arrested for 72 hours.

The Russian will following be extradited to stand before the judge in Switzerland.
