War veterans will receive material aid worth 1000 lei. Government today approved a Regulation for granting this aid. 

Therefore, material aid will be offered to veterans with disabilities in the Afghanistan war, rehabilitated victims of political repression in the years 1917-1990, veterans with disabilities from fighting for the defense of the territorial integrity and independence of Moldova  people with disabilities following the participation in the liquidation of the consequences of the Chernobyl disaster.

Participants in World War II will benefit from an annual aid of 10,000 lei, and the persons involved in the mine clearance of objects and objects in that period will receive 5,000 lei.

The total number of beneficiaries of state aid is estimated at 13,590 persons.

20 million lei of the 2018 state budget will be allocated to pay the annual material aid and the partial compensation of expenses.
