Anatolie Dimitriu, the president of Ialoveni district resigned. The request will come into force on March 1, this year. The information was confirmed by Nicolae Mereacre, the secretary of the District Council.

According to the secretary, at the end of the today's session of the regional council, Anatolie Diitriu announced that he resigns because of personal matters.

He didn't reply to the phone call, to offer more details.

The new district president will be elected after March, 1 through the vote of a third of the advisers.

Anatolie Dimitriu hold this office since July 2015.

Previously, he was deputy president of Ialoveni and PLDM deputy.
