ANRE's director confirmed there were serious reasons to decrease the gas taxes. Tudor Copaci participated at the parliamentary commission for economy and told the deputies they will make precise estimations.

"We have serious reasons to decrease the gas taxes. It would be unprofessional to say that the taxes will decrease with 15 or 20%", mentioned Tudor Copaci, director of ANRE.

At the end of January, Pavel Filip, the prime minister declared the gas price will be reduced with almost 20%. 

Thus, MoldovaGaz made a request to the National Agency for Energy Regulation. The energy provider presented a report with the incomes and costs and asked for a 11,4% discount. The decision belongs to ANRE.

At the present moment, the costumers pay 5,89 lei for a cubic meter of gas and consume up to 30 cubic meters of gas.
