Homeless dogs bit people on Donduseni streets
Dozens of homeless dogs walk on the Donduseni streets. Starting this year, five adults and four people were transported to the hospital after they have been bit by the homeless dogs.
Alexandru was attacked by a pack of woofs while he was returning from school. The nine year old child was afraid to walk alone on the streets.
"There were seven dogs and all of them attacked me. They started to run after me and bit me."
"He will have a scar and he is afraid of dogs. We have a child and it is very easy for him to get a psychological trauma. Now he says he is afraid."
A similar situation happened to another child, but, unfortunately, he remained unharmed, due to the passers-by who helped him.
"The child was returning from home in an usual day. He noticed a pack of eight dogs. If the passers-by didn't help him, he would have been harmed seriously."
The citizens say they are afraid for their children's live.
"We should solve this problem, because children are afraid to talk alone."
According to the doctors, the bites involve major risks.
"They must address to the family doctor and he will take the required measures", said Aureliu Drumea, the chief of the Donduseni District hospital.
The local authorities will build an asylum for the animals, but, this initiative is just an idea for now.
The previous year, 60 people were bitten by homeless dogs in Donduseni.
