A new road indicator aiming to combat trade to drivers appeared on the Chisinau-Orhei route.

The sign prohibits the stationing of cars on certain portions. The initiative belongs to the Orhei Ecological Inspectorate and the police.

Even so, vendors continue to offer bouquets of flowers to drivers.

Drivers support the initiative, saying it will ease the traffic. 

Drivers who do not comply with the signs will risk a fine of up to 750 lei and three penalty points.

The people who will sell flowers will receive fines from 1500 to 3,000 lei.
