The winter is ending with snow and cold weather. Representative from General Inspectorate for Emergency Situations, urge citizens to be more cautious.

Rescuers recommend drivers, before leaving, to gain information regarding the weather, state of the roads and to avoid driving if it is not strictly necessary. Still, in case people plan a long drive, the car must be properly equipped, with a shovel, sand and chains being kept in the trunk.

Moreover, drivers must have at hand emergency food and warm beverage, as well as be dressed in warm clothes and ensure that their phones are charged.

Firefighters urge people to respect fire safety measure, especially when using fireplaces, or other heating devices.
