Ordinary session of working group for education took place in Tiraspol
Today, February 28, 2018, the OSCE Mission to Tiraspol held the regular meeting of the Education Working Groups with the participation of representatives of the "5 + 2" negotiation format.
The Delegation from Chisinau was led by Igor Sharov, the General State Secretary at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Research.
The Moldovan side mentioned that, in order to fulfill the commitments agreed on November 25, 2017 at the level of the political representatives in the process of negotiations for the Transnistrian settlement, by the Government Decision no.138 of 07.02.2018 ,, On completing point 9 of the Regulation on the application apostille "the necessary normative framework for the apostille of the studies issued by" Taras Şevcenco "University of Tiraspol was established. In this respect, the representative of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Moldova has outlined the procedure and the concrete steps to be taken by the graduates of the mentioned educational institution in order to obtain the apostille.
Within the meeting, they also talked about the progresses after implementing the Protocol Decision on the functioning of the Moldovan schools with teaching in the Latin script in the Transnistrian region.
At the same time, the discussions also focused on the issue of the movement of pupils from educational institutions in Dubasari district, in order to participate in different educational activities at district level.
The Parties agreed to maintain the dialogue and dynamic work of the Education Working Group.
