The Capital's police officers are working to find and document all vagrants, due to the cold weather. The officer's actions are meant to prevent people in a difficult situation, or without a permanent residence, passing away from hypothermia, taking them to the Homeless Shelter from the Capital. Therefore, 189 apartments blocks were searched, as well as 73 basements of blocks that are still being built.

Following, officers managed to find and document 198 vagrants, from Chisinau and other districts, having recommend them how to avoid becoming victims and urging people to seek refuge in homeless shelters. Capital's police will inform public authorities and social assistance services from the persons's home districts, for measure foreseen by law to be taken.
