State Secretary, Tatiana Molcean met with representatives of International Gypsy Organization
Tatiana Molcean, the State Secretary within the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration hold a meeting with the experts within the International Gypsy Organization, leaded by Normand Rudevici.
Within the discussions, the State Secretary highlighted the meaning of the Actions Plan for supporting the gypsy population for 2016-2020 and make sure the gypsy's rights are respected.
Also, they highlighted the active participation of the representatives of our country to the ad-hoc Committee of experts according to the gypsy issues of the European Council (CAHROM), as well as the gypsy's right to the public services. Now, 18 persons are involved in this office.
At their turn, the speakers thanked for accepting the meeting and for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration's efforts in providing the national minorities' rights, especially, the gypsy's ones. Within the meeting, they informed about opening an international fund IRU TRUST FUND, as well about opening an office in Republic of Moldova.
