Inter-parliamentary Summit in Chisinau. At the event will gather close to 150 officials and renown specialists who will debate current security issue
Regional security challenges will be discussed today in Chisinau, within the inter-parliamentary summit hosted by the Moldovan Parliament.
Within the even "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and current security challenges" the three countries will sign a declaration on the European Integration perspectives and the current security issues.
The idea of organizing such a summit belongs to the Parliaments Presidents of the three countries. At the event will gather close to 150 officials and renown specialists, including Presidents of Parliaments, Members of the European Parliament and representatives of United States Congress, as well as well known local and international experts.
The event will include debates, discussions and conclusions on the propaganda and fake information issue. The "Providing a reply" will be bases on the current propaganda issue from the region and the methods of fighting against it.
Among the speakers there will be the Central Eurasia expert, the Future Europe Initiative and the Atlantic Council's Strategic and Security Center Scowcroft, Michael Carpenter, and Saeima's President, Latvia, Ināra Mūrniece. The Panel will be moderated by Geysha Gonzalez, the Associate Director of the Eurasia Center of the Atlantic Council.

Republic of Moldova and Georgia established diplomatic relations on June 25 1992. In April 2014, Presidents of Parliaments from Chisinau and Georgia held first official meeting. In June 2017, Presidents of Parliaments form Moldova, Ukraine and Georgia have requested the European Parliament to bring into force a resolution with clearly stated perspectives on those three countries to speed up the democratic transformation and progresses.
