Vlad Plahotniuc: Moldova and Georgia are interested in strengthening cooperation
Moldova and Georgia are interested in strengthening cooperating within the Eastern Partnership, including the perspective to consolidate regional security and combat foreign propaganda. The subject was discussed by PDM president Vlad Plahotniuc and Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze.
The meeting took place before the summit "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and current security challenges", which took place today in Chisinau.
The two officials spoke of reforms and maintaining the pro-European obligations. Vlad Plahotniuc greeted the presence of Chairperson of the Parliament of Georgia at the inter-parliamentary summit and expressed his hopes that the event will be a successful one, due to the ambitions of the three state to speak of a common position regarding the threats upon regional security.
