Spoiled produce sold in Moldova. 700 kg of fruits and nearly 1.5 tonnes of vegetables recalled from stores

700 kg of fruits and nearly 1.5 tonnes of vegetables were recalled from stores. The decision was taken by National Agency for Food Safety (ANSA) after 11 markets from Chişinău, Bălţi, Ialoveni and Străşeni were investigated.
ANSA inspectors discovered that many produce lacked quality certificates and some lots of fruits and vegetables were spoiled. Therefore, eight economic agents were sanctioned.
