Inter-parliamentary summit from Chisinau is about what do people from Moldova, Georgia and Ukraine deserve
Regional security challenges will be discussed today in Chisinau, within the inter-parliamentary summit hosted by the Moldovan Parliament.Within the even "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and current security challenges" the three countries will sign a declaration on the European Integration perspectives and the current security issues.
At his turn, Irakli Konakhidze, Georgia President of Parliament said: "Only together with our partners - Moldova and Ukraine, can we achieve our aims and ensure local peace and democracy.""
"A year ago, I understood that we don't only have a common past, we can also have a common future", mentioned Andriy Parubiy, the President of the Ukraine Rada.
Damond Wilson, the deputy President of the Atlantic Council announced that the United States have the role to help people from these three countries. In this sense, according to the him, the US congress has a very important role. This position was supported by Ted Poe, Congressman. The Congressman invited the tree presidents of parliaments to have a meeting with Paul Ryan and the three groups within the American Congress. "We need to be partners for stability, liberty and peace in the Eastern Europe. I encourage you to work together, because together we are a strong force".
Asif Chaudhry, former US Ambassador to Republic of Moldova, declared that the USA should support Moldova and provide the territorial integrity of the three countries.
Andrian Candu, the President of Moldovan Parliament decorated Andriy Parubiy, Irakli Kobakhidze and Damond Wilson with Democracy Medal as a symbol of respect and appreciation.
On March 2, in Chisinau took place the Inter-parliamentary summit "Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine: Eastern Partnership and current security challenges".

At the event will gather close to 150 officials and renown specialists, including Presidents of Parliaments, Members of the European Parliament and representatives of United States Congress, as well as well known local and international experts.
