President of Moldova Parliament, Andrian Candu, declared for Replica TV show on Prime that the Government wishes to attract more foreign investors and double the number of available jobs this year. 

The official also declared that despite elections taking place in 2018, authorities will prioritize the country's economic development.

"The snap elections from Bălţi and Chişinău have no whatsoever connection to the Parliament. We will concentrate on all that the Parliament has to do in the first half of the year and especially on the legislation, but we will also concentrate on parliamentary control and on various methods we elaborated to evaluate a law" Andrian Candu declared.

President of Moldovan Parliament is confident that in 2018, foreign investors will continue coming to our country.

"Sometimes, the electoral environment does not take into account the electoral year or not. We have signs that foreign investors will continue coming, especially since we have to banks for sale. We have many assurances from players on all that trade means and many IT companies have already declared their intentions" Andrian Candu added.
