More Moldovans tend to use mobile network. According to data from National Regulatory Agency for Electronic Communications and Information Technology (ANRCETI), close to 2.5 million Moldovans used mobile network on their phones, tablets or other gadgets.

The number rose by 28% since 2016. Data also shows that over 80% of those who use mobile network favor 4G. Their numbers being close to 700 000.

In 2017, people used over 66 million gigabytes of mobile data. Those numbers generated big profits to mobile network operators.

Sales rose to over 900 million lei, by 27% more than in 2016.
