Government will offer grants to Moldovans living abroad to implement projects in our country
The State Chancellery Bureau of Relationship with Diaspora offers grants for the citizens who live abroad, within the Governmental program of thematic grants "Diaspora Engagement Hub". The deadline of applying the folders is March 15, writes moldpres.md.
DEH is a program of thematic grants, used by the citizens of Moldova who evolve their activity abroad. The program is funded by the Swedish Agency for Development and Cooperation, within "Strengthening Moldova capacities in migration and development" project. The program targets to support the Moldovans who are abroad in implementing their ideas in Republic of Moldova and value the Diaspora human resources.
"Diaspora Engagement Hub" includes a vast range of actions. It is about regional partnership, three grants of 94 thousand lei each, offered for the Diaspora associations, especially to evolve different socio-economic actions.
At the same time, the program will support the women from the Dispora with five grants worth 94 thousand lei each, for implementing social, judicial projects.
Also, for the professional return of the diaspora will be offered ten grants of about 38 thousand lei. Thus, the transfer of human capital and professional experience for the academic, social and economic development of the Republic of Moldova through the short-term professional return (2 weeks - 2 months) will be encouraged.
The projects will be implemented on the territory of Moldova. The deadline of implementing the project is August 31, 2018. The folders of the projects should be applied in the second half of March.
