Electoral Commission will decide today on a date for the snap elections from Chisinau and Balti, as well as their expenses. Previously it was discussed that those elections might take place on May 20, when elections will unfold in another five districts.

At the end of February, Electoral Comission announced that it is calculating the expenses required for the snap elections from Balti and Chisinau, money that were not foreseen in the state budget.

A month ago, Renato Usatîi resigned as Mayor of Balti, while a few days later, Dorin Chirtoacă has also announced that he is resigning.
