A 59-year-old citizen of Turkey was sentenced to 17 years of jail time for raping a child from Moldova.

The decision was taken by judges from Cimişlia Court. According to prosecutors, the suspect was in a relationship with a woman from Moldova and would often force himself on her younger brother, only 7-year-old.

The investigation was led by prosecutors for special causes, along with representatives of Bureau of Migration and Asylum.
