A new failure for Socialist and Communist MPs. The simple motion against Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration, Iurie Leanca, has fallen. The arguments put forward by the opposition to dismiss Leanca were not convincing for the rest of the deputies. Only 25 MPs voted for this initiative.
The simple motion against Iurie Leanca was signed by 26 Communists and Socialists. They accused the Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration of attacking the statehood of the country after he declared several times that he opted for the union of Moldova with Romania.
"I have informed him of the cause and everything I have done so far in the various positions I have held, I have shown my devotion to this state. I, unlike some of my colleagues, have not filed an application or acts to acquire the citizenship of another country, "said Iurie Leanca, Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration.
In this respect, the Ambassador and Head of Mission of the Republic of Moldova to the EU, Eugen Carpov,
"I would like to congratulate the PCRM and PSRM for another action that is part of the electoral campaign that you are constantly promoting over the last years.
In fighting with political opponents, enemies are always identified. These are: Romania, the EU, NATO, the USA, which, according to the pro-Russian ideologies, dampen the liquidation of the statehood of the Republic of Moldova. Nothing new, nothing original. I have already said it on the occasion of the previous motion. I already have one.
The values advocated by the European People's Party in Moldova are that today we live in an independent state. Those who defend statehood and support the policy of a state like the Russian Federation.
Today the civilized world is vehemently opposed to the Russian wars.
You promote politics in a comedy. We live in a new world where it is important to be free. We live in new times where it is not the case to bury ourselves, you must know that only thanks to pro-European governments barbed wire has long been down. And borders have been opened for citizens to travel freely around the world.
The proximity to the EU is increasingly disturbing the hostile forces of the Republic of Moldova.
