A 64-year-old woman was found deceased in her own house from Horjești village, Hâncești district. The lifeless body of the elder, mutilated by rats, was found by her son, who lived nearby.

Neighbors are horrified by the incident and claim that both the woman and her son loved to drink and came from poor families. According the them, recently, the woman suffered from pneumonia. 

The case is being investigated by the police. Forensics will analyze and establish the cause of death.
