Andrei Gheorghe passed away aged 56
Andrei Gheorghe passed away at 56. In Moldova, he moderated in 2010 the TV Show Salutare Națiune, broadcast on Prime TV.
"I will continue mocking deputies, doctors, teachers, priests, angels, churches, anti- Semitics, homophobes, iron-guardists and other such moronic creatures" wrote Andrei Gheorghe in his last post on Facebook.
In the same message, the radio personality also mentioned that his Facebook was blocked. Gheorghe said that "he did not changed and remained the same".
In another post on Twitter, made on March 15, he wrote that he was blocked from Facebook for the past six months, causing him to use Twitter to communicate with his fans.
Andrei Gheorghe was found deceased in his own house from Voluntari, on Monday evening.
Andrei Gheorghe was born on January 14 1962, in Lipetsk, Russia. He graduated the Faculty of Foreign Literature and Language (Russian - English), University of Bucharest.
He was a radio and television host in Romania and directed documentaries.
Between 1991 and 1993 he was a special reported at Radio Constanța having made various broadcasts at radio Sky Constanța (1993- 1996; "Videomania", "Vineri 13"), Pro FM București (1996-2002;"Midnight Killer" "13-14"), and "Lanțul Slăbiciunilor" on Pro TV.
During 2002 and 2003, he hosted Gheorghe TV show on Antena 1, resumed the show "13-14 cu Andrei", first at Radio 21 and then between 2005 - 2006 at Radio Tota, wrote Digi24.ro.
He was a supporting character in the movies: Amen of Costa Gavras, Youth Without Youth of Francis Ford Coppola and collaborated with Paraziții for their album Irefutabil.
He wrote "Academia Cațavencu" (Cațavencu Academy) and the guide "24-FUN".
Andrei Gheorghe was also the director general of Radio Sky Constanța and Pro FM București, was the program director of Media Pro, adviser in marketing issued at Antena 1 București.
