The First House project initiated by PDM will launch today.  Vlad Plahotniuc announced that works are already being made to extend this project, therefore, in only a few months, public servants will also be able to acquire a house.

"Through this project, we wish to encourage people to remain public servants, but, at the same time, to make this program a reason for young people to work for the state" Vlad Plahotniuc said.

Only people under 45, with an official employment and that don't own real estate, or other mortgage loans are eligible to apply for the First House project. Their salaries have to be at least the double of the monthly rate, while the state will pay 50% of the mortgage.

For 2018, state budget will offer for this project 50 million lei. The program will be implemented through Organization for Small and Medium Enterprises Sector Development.
