Some councils from Colonita village, one of whom is a relative of Mihai Ghimpu, PL leader want to catch up five ha of land.

The accusations were made by Angela Zaporojan, the mayor of the village within a press conference,. The event overturned in a scandal, after the targeted councils came in the press conference hall.

Angela Zaporojan says that Ghimpu family privatized five ha of land and should have paid almost two million lei.

"Already two years have passed and they haven't pay yet, but they don't even use the land", said Angela Zaporojan , the mayor of Colonita.

Moreover, the mayor says that Ghimpu's relatives took her in the instance.

"I am blamed that I don't want to sign a contract of five ha of land that want to be caught by Ghimpu land. The oblige me to sign it", said Angela Zaporojan.

The councils deny the accusations and say that the mayor had her interests in this case.

"You convoked the extraordinary session and wanted to shorten the surface from 5 to 1,8 ha", said Viorel Ghimpu, local council from Colonita.

Viorel and Dumitru Ghimpu are relatives of Mihai Ghimpu.
