A 36 year old man from Cioc-Maidan village, Gagauzia was murdered by two villagers, in his own house.

The victim was celebrating with a friend. Two friends came to celebrate with them. After they drank alcohol, they started to fight. The two men attacked the owner of the house with a row. The victim died at the hospital, because of the injuries.

"When the police arrived at the place of the accident, they found out that around 8 pm, two villagers of Cioc-Maidan village aged of 36 and 26 started to beat the owner of the house, as they were drunk", mentioned Snejana Turcan, Press Officer of Gagauzian Police.

According to the police, the suspects recognized their guilt. The Comrat Police Inspectorate opened a criminal file on this case. The two men risk up tp 15 years in prison.
